How Can I Be a Part of Pray Fresno?

PASTOR/LEADER

1.     Include PRAY on your church calendar

2.     Register your congregation at the PRAY website (www.prayfresnoclovis.com, after March 15)

3.     Download or Request: (www.prayfresnoclovis.com, after March 15)

a.      Prayer Guides

b.     Map of Prayer Perimeter

c.      PRAY info brochures as needed

4.     Identify your congregation’s section to pray for from the map

5.     Promote PRAY in your congregation

6.     Utilize PRAY promotional DVD when it is mailed to you

7.     Schedule PRAY as it works for you – Example would be:

a.      Promote and attend National Day of Prayer at Fresno or Clovis on May 1

b.     Plan a suggested time to PRAY your section of the boundary on Saturday morning, May 3. Walk, ride, drive, whatever

c.      Plan to gather at your congregation late Saturday morning and pray the immediate neighborhood

d.     Encourage your people to pray their street Saturday afternoon or evening

***OBVIOUSLY there are any number of ways to implement PRAY. Plan what works best for you and your congregation

8.     Plan to include testimonies or other ways of sharing PRAY in your Sunday worship, May 4^th

 

INDIVIDUAL/NON-PASTOR

2.     Register there and include your congregation

3.     Be sure to check with your pastor and volunteer to help in any way possible

4.     You may download a Prayer Guide and Prayer map

5.     Help recruit other church members to be a part

6.     Find out how  and when your congregation is going to be praying and go for it
